About

Seaweed

It is the spring of 1940, and the clouds of war are gathering in Europe. More than three hundred thousand men are stranded on the beaches of France awaiting rescue, while on this side of the Channel, the crew of the Far Hope are escaping a war of their own. Soon they will be pirates, but they cannot leave without their leader, Emma "Seaweed" Johnson. This will be her story. Raised with her feet in the sea and her head in the clouds, Seaweed (Weed to her friends) is a poet, an adventurer and a buccaneer, but as the sun comes up over the river

Dash and the tide turns for a second time, she is also conspicuously missing.
